Warranty & Refund Policy

Insurance Quality Parts provides a 30-day standard warranty on all parts on an exchange basis only, unless otherwise stated herein or otherwise agreed upon. 

Parts must be purchased to qualify for warranty. Any parts included but not sold with any other purchased part will not be warrantied. Parts not sold but included in bundle are sold as-is and are not subject to warranty. 

All parts subject to warranty must be itemized on invoice. 

NO LABOR COSTS are covered for any part sold by Insurance Quality Parts. In the event that the part is defective we will first attempt to replace it and if a replacement cannot be sent we will issue a refund for the total sale amount. 

All custom vehicle cuts (i.e. roof, quarter panel, etc.) are sold as is and no return will be accepted. No exceptions! 


In the event a reorder is made prior to return of the first part we will require payment for the second part and refund the initial order upon return. Return shipping costs will not be reimbursed. 

In the event a part is returned that does not fit the specifications listed in this agreement, Insurance Quality Parts reserves the right to apply a 33% restocking fee. 

Returned check are subject to $50.00 fee. 

Shipping charges are never refunded. 

Bodyshops whom have ordered parts for vehicles declared a total loss by the insurance company must provide documentation in order to present such claim. There will not be a restocking fee applied if provided within 7 days of such declaration. After the expiration of the7 day window, all returns will be subject to 33% restocking fee. No returns after 30 days. 

All parts must be inspected at the time of delivery. There will be no claims of damage after receipt of part. 

Insurance Quality Parts is not responsible for items delivered to the address given at the time of sale according to tracking information but not taken into possession by the customer. Once package has been shipped there are no changes that can be made during transit. 

Items ordered for 'testing purposes only' or ordered incorrectly by the customer will not be available for return or otherwise subject to restocking fee of 33%. All parts ordered are deemed requested and verified by a certified mechanical or body expert. 

Items returned after the warranty period will not be refunded and will be returned to sender if postage is paid by the buyer. Parts must be received within 30 days of the original shipment delivery date in order to be accepted. Proof of valid receipt is necessary. 

Engines are complete assemblies including manifolds, oil pan, timing belts and covers, fuel injection. We guarantee only the long block. The manifolds, gaskets, seals, hoses, oil pan, timing belts and covers, fuel injection or carburetor, are not. 

Accessories such as but not limited to Turbos, Starters, air compressors, alternator, power steering pumps, optical distributors or electrical water pumps are usually not included nor under warranty in regards to the sale and/or warranty of an engine. If these parts are purchased separately they will be under warranty. 

Other items that may need to be replaced are the water pump, distributor cap, spark plugs and wires and possibly timing chain. 

Insurance Quality Parts will not be held liable for these parts listed as they are considered high-wear parts. 

Any performance modifications, competition or off highway use voids warranty. Any unauthorized modification or disassembly of part voids warranty. 

Instrument and Speedometer Clusters are not guarantee mileage. For particular vehicles such as but not limited to Lexus, Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Cadillac the customer will be required to take the cluster to a dealership to have the unit reprogrammed. Insurance Quality Parts will not return or refund any units until the customer can provide written documentation from an Authorized Dealer proving the part was reprogrammed and still not functioning properly. 

Rotors are guaranteed to be machinable only since normal use can leave them slightly warped. They will be guaranteed against cracks or non-machinable surface damage. 

Cylinder heads are guaranteed to not be warped or cracked. Rings and valves may need to be re-machined. Cylinder heads are required to be taken to a machine shop and inspected, not guaranteed to be good when bolted on without proper inspection and/or machining.

Orders of "Block Only" (Short or Long Block) are guaranteed to be rebuildable only. 

Electrical items such as engine computers and body control modules, transmission modules, transfer case modules are only guaranteed to have the correct manufacturer part number and are not sold for testing purposes. All electrical items have a replacement warranty only. Up to one replacement will be sent in order to rectify a non-working module. Modules may need to be reset by the dealer. In the event this is required the part cannot be returned until verified by the dealer that the part has been reset properly. 

Electrical parts that have been modified in any way will not be refunded. 

Struts are sold with working condition warranty only. We do not guarantee to actual ride quality of the shocks or springs. We do guarantee that the springs and strut tower will be in working condition. However, shocks may need to be replaced to improve ride quality. 

Control arms are guaranteed to be true and straight. 

ALL ENGINES, TRANSMISSIONS AND TRANSFER CASES MUST BE INSTALLED BY AN “ASE” CERTIFIED SHOP. We guarantee that transmissions will shift properly, gears to be good and bearings to be good. Thoroughly clean all components of the transmission including oil pan before assembly. Replace oil and filter in all automatic transmissions. You must replace ALL seals and gaskets prior to installation. Flush & flow test cooler and lines. Fully engage torque converter in front pump. Manual transmission you must install a new clutch, pressure plate, and slave cylinder. You must also have your fly wheel turned prior to installation. Fill and check fluid to insure proper levels. 

SRS equipment is sold as-is and returns are not accepted. 

Specific colors may be requested for body parts, but a color match is not guaranteed. We recommend that body parts be repainted to match your vehicle. Body parts that do not match the color of your vehicle will not be available for return for that reason. 

At the commencement of a “parts exchange transaction”, Buyer will receive from Insurance Quality Parts an itemized invoice showing an entry labeled “core deposit.” Under this Policy, the term “core deposit” shall be treated as a security deposit which encourages the timely return of Exchange Cores and NOT the difference between the retail value of the transmission and the exchange price listed on Seller’s invoice. 

If Buyer pays for its transmission C.O.D, Insurance Quality Parts will hold the core deposit in escrow until an Acceptable Core is provided from buyer. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Policy, BUYER’S FAILURE TO DELIVER AN ACCEPTABLE CORE WILL RESULT IN BUYER’S FORFEITURE OF ANY CLAIM TO THE CORE DEPOSIT AND SELLER SHALL RETAIN THE CORE DEPOSIT AS FAIR COMPENSATION FOR ITS LOSS, AND BUYER EXPRESSLY AGREES THAT SUCH COMPENSATION IS REASONABLE. 


The following conditions are unacceptable and may result in full or partial forfeiture of Buyer’s core deposit:

 • Exchange Cores contaminated with rust. Minor rust damage due to condensation or pressure washing is acceptable so long as no permanent damage occurs to parts which would otherwise be deemed acceptable. 

• Exchange Cores disassembled and reassembled with failed parts from another automobile part. 

• Exchange Cores that are weld-repaired 

• All core engines must be returned with same parts as included in replacement engine unless otherwise agreed upon. (Removal of injectors, valve covers, oil pan, timing covers. etc. or any other parts not returned with core engine.) 

•Cores must be complete, fully assembled and in rebuildable condition in order to receive core credit. A box of parts does not constitute a rebuildable core. 

•Hybrid battery cores which have been opened prior to delivery of core. 

•Broken plastic/ metal cover/ casing 

• Water damage 

• Part number miss match (core returned does not match part number originally purchased) 

• Missing components 

• Burnt PC board or PC board tampered 

• Damaged/ missing connectors 

This Agreement shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida and Miami-Dade County. Any and all actions, suits, or judicial proceedings upon any claim arising from or relating to this Agreement shall be instituted and maintained in the Miami-Dade County, Florida. If it is judicially determined that either party may file an action, suit or judicial proceeding in federal court, such action, suit or judicial proceeding shall be in the Federal District Court for the District of Florida. This limited warranty represents the exclusive remedy for warranty failure and the total liability of Insurance Quality Parts for any part it warrants. Insurance Quality Parts MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT-ABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Some states do not allow disclaimers of implied warranties. Therefore, all implied warranties that may apply to your part are limited to the duration of this written warranty. Some states also do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts so the above information may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. Insurance Quality Parts, Inc. does not authorize any person to vary the terms, conditions or exclusions of this warranty. If any provision of the warranty should become invalid or unenforceable because of any laws, the remaining terms and provisions of the warranty shall remain in full force and effect.
